Add Calm. Add Celebration.
Jul 30, 2026
Most of us are good at noticing what still needs work.
We see the pose we have not mastered, the class we missed, the habit we have not maintained, or the version of ourselves we are still trying to become.
What we often miss is the effort already happening.
We forget to notice that we returned to the mat. That we stayed with our breath. That we kept moving when the practice became uncomfortable. That we made time for ourselves in the middle of a full life.
This week, we are making space for two things that belong together more than we might realize: Calm and celebration.
Calm allows us to be present enough to see what is here.
Celebration reminds us that what is here matters.
Begin with Five Minutes of Breath
This week’s free YouTube practice is 5-Minute Breathwork with Kinndli | Calm Your Mind and Body with Guided Pranayama Practice.
It is short, simple, and designed for the moments when your mind feels crowded or your energy feels scattered.
Breathwork does not ask you to solve everything.
It simply gives you a place to begin.
For five minutes, you can step away from the noise, slow your breathing, and reconnect with the body beneath the thoughts. You may not emerge with every answer, but you may create enough space to respond differently.
That is the quiet power of the breath.
It does not always change what is happening around you. It changes how you meet it.
Four New Classes for Members
This week’s new Power Yoga at Home classes explore strength, steadiness, effort, and joy.
POWER YOGA 60 MUSIC NICK | Quiet Power, Full Heart
Build strength without losing your sense of calm.
This practice invites you to work with intensity while staying connected to your breath. Strength does not have to be loud, rushed, or aggressive. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is remain steady while the work builds.
POWER YOGA 60 MUSIC NICK | Celebrate the Effort
Move boldly and honour everything you bring to the mat.
Not every practice needs to be measured by the poses you achieve. Sometimes the victory is your willingness to begin, continue, and give what you have today.
Let this class be a celebration of effort—not perfection.
POWER YOGA 60 MUSIC JENN | Calm in the Current
Find steadiness while the energy continues to move.
Life rarely becomes completely still before we are asked to find our centre. This dynamic practice encourages you to create calm within movement rather than waiting for everything around you to settle first.
You can move and remain grounded.
You can work and remain present.
POWER YOGA 60 MUSIC JENN | Joy Is the Practice
An uplifting flow that makes room for strength and celebration.
Joy is not something we need to earn after the work is finished.
It can live inside the work.
This energizing practice is an invitation to move with openness, appreciate what your body can do, and let the experience itself be worth celebrating.
You Are Allowed to Notice the Good
Celebration is not the same as pretending everything is perfect.
It is the practice of noticing what is working, what is growing, and what deserves acknowledgement—even while more work remains.
Calm helps us notice.
Celebration helps us remember.
This week, begin with five minutes of guided breathwork from Kinndli. Then choose one of four new full-length member practices and bring that steadiness with you onto the mat.
Breathe before you begin.
Celebrate when you finish.
And somewhere in the middle, remember that showing up is already something worth honouring.
