Nourish Your Practice is a 6-week, yoga-aligned nutrition program by Dr. Melissa Manilla that turns small daily habits into lasting energy.
In Week 1, you’ll anchor hydration and greens to boost clarity, digestion, and how you feel on the mat.
Week 2 brings balanced plates—protein, fiber, and healthy fats—for steady focus and fewer crashes.
In Week 3, you’ll fuel recovery with right-sized protein and fiber after class to support lean muscle and tame cravings.
Week 4, rebuilds from the inside out with mindful eating, fermented foods, and simple breath practices that calm and support digestion. In
Week 5, you’ll decode cravings and shift mindset—replacing guilt with curiosity and strengthening self-trust around food.
Week 6 stitches it all together into a sustainable blueprint—choosing simple habits that fit your life and celebrating your progress with our community.

Meet. Dr Melissa
Dr. Melissa Manilla, DC, MS, CAcu, is a chiropractor and functional medicine practitioner who blends evidence-informed chiropractic, clinical nutrition, and acupuncture to uncover the root causes of symptoms and support whole-person wellbeing. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences, completed 300+ hours of acupuncture training and certification, and holds a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition & Functional Medicine (graduated with distinction).
Melissa focuses on gut health, hormonal balance (including thyroid and women’s health), autoimmune conditions, metabolic health, chronic pain, and stress-related fatigue/energy dysregulation. Over the past eight years she has supported hundreds of patients, with numerous success stories in the fertility space. She has taught courses on gut and hormonal health, spoken at community events, and been featured on podcasts discussing practical nutrition.
A lifelong student (she once thought reading nutrition labels was “fun”), Melissa continues advanced study in endocrinology, thyroid and neurological health, bloodwork analysis, and internal medicine applications of acupuncture and cupping. After navigating two emergent pregnancy losses, fertility care has become her greatest professional passion—meeting women with compassion at every step of their journey.
Away from work, she loves to travel (24+ countries, including solo adventures), move her body in all the ways, try new restaurants, and explore with her husband Andy, their son Kai, their daughter Isla and their doodles Macy and Fiona.
Dr. Melissa is the Owner of The Wellness Space Co. and is currently practicing out of Power Yoga Collective Pinecrest.
